paper CO_CuadernosdeLingüÃsticaHispánicatxt29 - : The lexical presence of the Muisca language in Cundiboyacense dialect is a proof that its influence is still in force. The objective of this article is to present the loanwords and possible borrowings from Muisca in current Spanish, classified in semantic fields. The data were collected at the municipalities of Machetá and Tiribita in the department of Cundinamarca; Guateque, Sutatenza, Guayatá, La capilla, Garagoa, Chinavita y Pachativa in the department of Boyacá. The results were organized into seven semantic fields: country and farming ; mining; space; animals; family and life cycle; human body; containers, food and housing. The study concluded that the most influential fields are those corresponding to farming and animals.
